Valerie is a Colorado Springs family photographer that also specializes in her own unique and creative art known as Imagination Sessions.
Rylee was turning six and her momma always wants updated photos for birthdays. When we ask Rylee what her favorite thing in the world right now is, she said being a rockstar! I'm not going to lie, that's pretty awesome. So, rockstar themed photoshoot it was going to be!
She dressed in her favorite rock and roll outfit and we took her to downtown Colorado Springs where we could find a cool urban scene to complete her rockstar themed photoshoot. We found a very colorful and artistic graffiti wall that was perfect!
Rylee had her guitar and microphone and just told her to be herself and rock out! We got some priceless photos to make Rylee look like and feel like a real rockstar. Take a look at some of these awesome images:
It might be the photographer in me because even though this whole place was filled with such amazing colors (which I also love), I am so drawn to this black and white image. Your eyes are brought directly to her face and guitar and I could just totally see this as an album cover.
"I'm all kinds of fabulous". She couldn't have worn a better shirt! We took a mixture of shots with her awesome shirt, as well as her super rad leather jacket. A rockstar photo session wouldn't be complete without one, of course!
